Eagles Autism Challenge Timeline and Event Details

Friday, May 18th Timeline

8:30 am Packet Pick-Up Opens on HeadHouse Plaza
5:00 pm Kick-Off Party begins on HeadHouse Plaza
5:30 pm West Club (formerly Panasonic Club) opens for dinner & opening ceremony
8:30 pm Kick-Off Party concludes

Saturday, May 19th Start Times and Timeline

6:00 am HeadHouse Plaza Opens for Packet Pick-Up & breakfast
7:00 am Wawa Classic 50-mile ride start
8:00 am Wawa Shorti 30-mile ride start
9:00 am Wawa Junior 15-mile ride start
9:30 am five Below 5K run/walk start
9:30 am Field activities open
10:30 am Food and Beverage opens on main concourse and field
12:00 pm Awards ceremony
12:30 pm Entertainment begins

 

All participants should have their packets and be ready to go 30 minutes before their start time. Once the final pace car leaves, no more cyclists will be allowed to join on the course due to safety precautions

Packet Pick-Up

You can pick up your packet during the following times:
  • Friday during the day: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
  • Friday Night Kick-Off Party: 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm
  • Saturday Morning: 6:00 am – 9:30 am
    • If you plan to pick up your packet on event day, please arrive an hour and a half before your race start time. All participants should be ready to go 30 minutes before their start time.
You MUST show a photo ID to receive your packet
Packets CANNOT be picked up for another participant
Minors who are 13-17 years of age will not need an ID but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at packet pick-up
Credentials are non-transferable

Parking

Parking will be FREE for the Friday Night Kick-Off Party on May 18th and on event day, Saturday May 19th. Specific lots and access routes will be posted closer to event day.

Children 12 and under participating in the five Below 5K

All children 12 and under who will be participating in the five Below 5K will need a parent or legal guardian to sign a waiver on their behalf when they pick up their packet.
Once the waiver is signed, you will receive a wristband for your child that he or she will need to wear at all times during the event.
Children 12 and under must be with a registered adult to participate.
Strollers are welcomed.

Changing Routes

Route changes are no longer permitted after Friday, April 13th. You will receive a credential/bib for the participation option you registered for and will not be able to switch your credential at packet pick-up

Fundraising

All fundraising for the 2018 Eagles Autism Challenge is due on Thursday, May 31st.
Please do not bring cash or checks with you on event day. All donations should be mailed to our office at Eagles Autism Challenge, One Novacare Way, Philadelphia, PA 19145 with the donation form that can be found on the ” Fundraising ” page on our website. Checks can be made out to Eagles Autism Challenge, Inc.
As stated in the fundraising agreement, you will be responsible to cover the difference of whatever you have not raised toward your fundraising minimum.
All fundraising should be done exclusively through your Eagles Autism Challenge fundraising link and our donate button on our website.
Money collected through sites like Facebook and Go Fund Me do not count toward your minimum, as they are not received or tracked through our fundraising software.
