2020 Funding Opportunities

2020 FUNDING UPDATES

The mission of the Eagles Autism Foundation is to support the highest quality and most impactful autism research and care to improve the lives of affected individuals and families now, as well as foster the acquisition of knowledge, technologies, and discoveries that will bring new opportunities in the future. While we remain steadfast in our commitment to fund the most innovative research, we also recognize the immediate need to serve individuals through the community grant program. Given the current economic landscape and the pressing need for individual and family services, the 2020 Community Grant application process has been moved up for qualified organizations. All information regarding the 2020 Research Grant process, including the application for research institutions, will be posted in September of 2020 to allow more time for researchers and institutions to regroup. The 2020 Community Grant application will be available in advance beginning June 25, 2020 and will be due August 20, 2020.

The purpose of these $5,000-$25,000 community grants is to promote local services that enhance the lives of those affected by autism spectrum disorder (ASD), expand the capacity of organizations to effectively serve the ASD community, and increase the services available to individuals with ASD. In order to be eligible to apply, organizations must be a registered 501(c)3 organization in the Philadelphia area that serves a direct need in the autism community. We recognize the challenges that organizations across the city have endured due to the COVID-19 pandemic with many seeking assistance and funding now more than ever. Careful consideration will be given to applications that specifically address the needs of underserved communities, which may include non-English speaking populations, and other vulnerable groups. Please reach out to info@eaglesautismfoundation.org with any questions or concerns.
